When the first lockdown of 2020 began in France, Renaud Capuçon brought smiles to the faces of his followers on social media with daily videos from his home, offering music of hope and comfort. With his album Un Violon à Paris, he has recreated these magical moments in the studio with pianist Guillaume Bellom. Discover:
The album brings together a number of popular short pieces to create this memento of the first French lockdown, during which Renaud performed beloved violin pieces with piano accompaniment by Guillaume Bellom, each playing from their respective homes, and published the videos daily for his followers on social media, raising the spirits of his fans all around the world. The collection includes music by Enrico Morricone (Cinema Paradiso), Charlie Chaplin, Carlos Gardel, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, and Schumann.
