Parliamentary hearing on allegations of systemic torture in places of detention in CoE member states
This parliamentary hearing, which took place at around 3 p.m. CET on Wednesday 22 March 2023, was livestreamed in English from the Council of Europe office in Paris.
It formed part of a report being prepared for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) by Constantinos Efstathiou (Cyprus, SOC) on “Allegations of systemic torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment in places of detention in Council of Europe member States“.
