& plays Schubert Fantasie in F minor, (I)

Maria João Pires and Hüseyin Sermet plays Schubert Fantasia in F minor, (), for four-hands, one of Schuberts most important piano works, composed in 1828, the last year of his life and dedicated to his pupil and unrequited love, Karoline Esterházy. Schubert began writing the Fantasia in January 1828 in Vienna. The work was completed in March of that year and first performed in May by Schubert and Franz Lachner (1803 - 1890, German composer and conductor). Schubert died in November 1828.
