Magdeburg | A 4k timelapse film

instagram @ Enjoy the scenic view of the historic city of Magdeburg on the picturesque bank of the river Elbe. The 4K timelapse film has been shot throughout five years between 2014 and 2019. This project is an accumulation of numerous timelapses filmed throughout the five years of my student life in Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg. The filming started as a pastime activity while finding new places and exploring Magdeburg with friends; couple of beers to chill outside for a couple of hours while the cameras soaks the beauty of the landscape. This year (2020) with a lot of bizarre unwanted events and plenty of time in the lockdown I thought of putting together a time capsule of good memories which could help to let go of the despair and bring wishful thoughts to look forward to.
