Echipa Morii (Death Squad) - Romanian Legionary song

A song of the Legion of the Archangel Michael (Iron Guard), an Orthodox and Romanian Nationalist party in 1930s Romania, who sought to literally build a new Romania, setting up work camps in many villages through-out the land populated by volunteers who sometimes even crossed entire provinces to work in them. The “Echipa Morţii“ (“Death Squad“), were a Legionary paramilitary who were willing to die happily for their cause, which is what their name is in reference to - despite the more modern definition of a “Death Squad“.
