Olympic Games operations director confirms athletes will not need vaccines to compete in Tokyo

The announcement came during a press conference held in Tokyo and attended by international partners via videocall on Wednesday, during which, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) unveiled the first in a series of COVID-19 ’playbooks’ aimed to safely carry out the summer Olympic Games in 2021.
