My setup using the Maxwell Technologies cable for late Model S/X Tesla. While the Tesla CAN-Bus has 6 channels my focus is CAN6 Chassis using only a single CANable (Opensource) USB module, Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, and 12v to 5v DC-DC Step Down converter (taking power from Tesla’s custom ODB (20 Pin) connector, and an RPi microUSB data cable cut and spliced in for 5v power. Small PCBs with wired or soldered connections should to mount to a small project board, I used one from C4Labs I had lying around, but it could be a small piece of wood or acrylic. You might have noticed my Clockwork uConsole is sporting a new 3D printed stock Wi-Fi antenna mount from m3x, I’ve include a link for that below. #uConsole #Tesla #RaspberryPi #Wireshark #SavvyCAN In-vehicle tests performed on a secret Tesla Model S aftermarket Concept Conversion I’ve been working on in conjunction with... more info on that later 🫥 Raspberry Pi is a trademark of Raspberry Pi Ltd Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): License code: I78IHDZ3JBTJKED9 Helpful SSH tools I used with CLI on Raspberry Pi Zero 2W and CM4 Required: Install from CLI on Client and Server `sudo apt-get install can-utils` `sudo apt-get install usbip` Parts/Components Sources (non-affiliate) CANable Pro 2.0 Maxwell Tech MDFLY World Chips uConsole: Clockworkpi uConsole 3D Printed Antenna Mount by m3x Debian 12 Bookworm apps: `sudo apt-get install wireshark` Advanced: Debian 12 build from source only, Qt Kernel update may be required DBC files for SavvyCAN:
