Music for Nighthawks, 1942 by Edward Hopper

There was a composer’s competition I couldn’t miss. To participate I had to write a short piece (under 30 sec) for a scene portrayed on Edward Hopper’s painting called “Nighthawks“. And I love doing that, immersing into the scene and telling its story and atmosphere, its essence with music. So that’s what I did. Very short, but I don’t make the rules. Hope I could transmit the scene well. Also one of competition rules was musical creativity, that’s why you’ll hear minor third right after the same major one
