The Aseema Trust of which she is the managing trustee has been conducting spin a yarn - self and society sessions in ten schools of Chennai to use teaching to spin on the Charkha as a peg to discuss civic responsibilities, viability of non violence, dynamism of truth and cleanliness and Mahatma Gandhi. The Aseema trust has also been conducting using traditional performing arts as an empowering tool project in schools.
