Hello, JoLang is here again and today i want to introduce you to the song “Kalitvenians are great!“ A Dance song of the Don Cossacks integrated into the Russian music project -Music together- For me it is a deeply human, down-to-earth music, that opens up the possibility for us to feel free, monitored only by our ancestors. This is pretty unique. Although the song puts you in a good mood, what still comes to my mind while listening are: Water as a source of life, flooded roads, impenetrable swamps, constant danger, life on the river, arduous, hard work, the realm of spirits, places where no Christian dares to go.
