A storm hit Turin, with torrential rain, hail and strong gusts of wind. The ice grains have nearly stripped many trees, creating a carpet of torn green leaves on the avenues and streets. After a variable morning, between bright spells and clouds, the strong storm announced with the fall of the first dry hailstones. But later the hailstorm intensified, alerting the city to the intensity of the weather. The government will soon begin calculating the damage.
