The Greatest Week in History - Christ’s final week in Jerusalem

The greatest week in history is Christ’s final week in Jerusalem prior to his resurrection. This video is meant to give a contextual view of the events that happened this week and which day they happen and where they occur. This video is a great way to better understand why we celebrate the resurrection of Christ, Easter, and the atonement. This includes a map of Jerusalem at the time of Christ with traditional sites as we know them as well as assumed paths he took. Areas on the map and events include the following. I have included the scripture references for further study of these events. 1.    The Last Supper – Thurs Evening (John 13:1-38; Matt 26:17-30; Mark 14:13-31) 2.    Gethsemane – abt 9:00pm to 1:00am (Matt 26:36-45; Mark 14:32-41) 3. Betrayal and Arrest – abt Fri 1:00am (Matt 26:46-56; John 18:1-12; Mark 14:42-53) 4. Annas’ Palace - abt 1:30am (John 18:13-24) 5. Caiaphas’ Palace – abt 2:00am
