Contract Wars - Is the Sphinx worth getting?

Should you get the Sphinx as soon as you can? Or should you wait? My opinion - It seems to slightly stand out from the other pistols and performs better, so it’s worth it. Get one of the tier 5 main weapons first unless you’re REALLY comfortable with the main weapons you’ve got.
