How to speed up retopology in Maya 2022 using primitives #shorts

A really short video for beginners showing how to speed up the retopology process in Maya. This trick involves using primitives like a cylinder, placing it along your model( ideally a shape similar to the primitive you are using) and using the Quad Draw tool to activate retopology. This is a simple way to add clean topology to a model without having to draw each point manually which can be very time consuming. This trick can be used in any Maya version which comes with the modelling toolkit so pretty much any version at this point.
