PALESTINIAN ISLAMIC JIHAD (PIJ) WIPED OUT IN OPS SHIELD & ARROW; PIJ left with no leadership in Gaza

On 9th May 2023, #Israel launched Operation Shield and Arrow against the #Palestinian #IslamicJihad (#PIJ) as retaliation against rocket attacks by the terrorist group in the #Gaza strip. #Hamas and #Hezbollah both did not take PIJ’s side in action, despite verbal support, as Israel takes out 6 separate leaders in the PIJ ranks. Egypt plays a key role in trying to achieve a peace deal between the 2 factions.
