Rayman 2 - 1998 Beta Version Gameplay

Here’s a playthrough of a Beta version/demo of Rayman 2 that was distributed to a select group of readers of certain gaming magazines back in 1998. The build date of the exe is July 22nd, 1998. It features two levels, “morbide_p“ (Tomb of the Ancients map 2) and “mapkit_foret“ (A very early version of the Walk of Power, seemingly). I will upload this to as soon as that’s back online, in the meantime here’s a wetransfer link (valid until October 22): Note that this doesn’t run well on modern Windows (it’s a bit of a crapshoot if it works at all). This is running on PCEm, set up using the following guide: I also copied the game files to the C drive and followed the readme instructions which said to copy the DLL files to the system folder.
