Unissued / unused footage - dates and locations may be unclear / unknown. Boxer Max Schmeling at home - Germany. German newsreel titles read: ’MENSCHLICH GESEHEN - Max Schmeling’. Various shots of boxer Max Schmeling and his wife, actress Anny Ondra at their country home. They come walking out of their house, go to the lake and feed their carp then check on their numerous minks in cages (obviously running some kind of mink farm). Then they go and feed their chickens - there are loads of them running about a large enclosure. Anny holds one up to show Max and they both examine it. Crates are loaded onto the back of a truck (chickens?). Anny comes running along carrying several trays of eggs which go into the truck too.
