Christmas Parcels (1970)

Unused / unissued material - Various shots of lots of parcels - some seem to be opened. Joint of meat, handbags, Tonka toys, slippers, electric drill, doll - all appear to have fallen out of badly wrapped parcels. A Post Office worker comes to inspect the pile of damaged and poorly covered parcels (presumably sent for Christmas). A damaged parcel is re-wrapped by another worker. VS of lots of parcels on the move in large postal sorting depot. Nearly all the workers are women and most are Afro-Caribbean. VS of parcels being thrown into sorting baskets.
