Eccentric Club (1920)

Eccentric Club. Probably London. 4 horses pull a Coach through the street in London; at a fast speed; it is rounding curve; approaching camera. People stand on side of street staring; and no wonder; the occupants are a weird and wacky bunch - the coach is crowded with men wearing old fashioned Victorian (well maybe some stuff is Edwardian which isn’t so long before) costumes - one man is in drag; in women’s bonnet & dress. Cut to the coach pulling up outside a building with balcony. CU silly men in coach. Elderly bald and fat man climbing down. CU the Eccentric Club members standing around outside having a little party with alcoholic beverages; looking festive; lifting mugs of beer - or ale - as if they’re proposing a toast. Some of them have rather long hair - then of course there’s the man in drag who has a lady’s wig under that ruffled bonnet.
