American airmen sports meeting. World War One. Track & field events and a baseball game. Opens with shot of high jump — 2 men jump over the wire. Next; long jump. Tug of war. Then winners come up to table and receive awards from various local dignitaries. At least that’s what I thought they were doing; but here’s a woman walking up to the table. They each get a piece of paper. Funny shot! As one man (British) stands at table; facing away looking at the dignitaries; a little girl; about 3 years old; stands looking toward us and seems confused; she looks up at the man. He then takes her hand and walks off. Cute. Next scenes from baseball game. Shot looking down baseline. Batter & catcher. 3 strikes. Pitcher winds up & throws. A runner slides into base.
