Northern Africa. Various shots of British troops clearing a desert minefield. Mines are located by a hand held mine detector. It is carefully uncovered and defused. Men advance in a line prodding the sand cautiously with their bayonets to locate the mines. Close up shot as a mine is discovered with a bayonet point, cautiously uncovered and defused. Various shots as the troops continue to advance under shell fire. One man is hit but immediately replaced in line.
