Zeppelin Stories (1916)

Zeppelin Stories - German Zeppelins wrecked in England. Remnants of the L21 brought down at Cuffley; on display at HAC Headquarters. Tail of the Zeppelin (actually a Schutte-Lanz airship) hangs from above; in front is a big pile of wreckage; inside a tent; a soldier inside strolling around looking at stuff. CU pan down tail; with heads of several people underneath. Weird shot looking down long table cluttered with various items from the Zeppelin. Zeppelin crash in Essex. Very poor quality: soldier in FG much darker than wreck in BG; so that it almost appears he is standing in front of screen on which is projected a very low-contrast film. Pan back & forth on wreckage; people running; etc. Then shot of a crowd of people riding or pushing bicycles toward camera; most likely hurrying to the scene of the accident; a few others heading away. Then shot from behind of the people with bikes. See also ON 211 X (quality about the same). G 391. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANN
