Fantasy Of Fashion (1945)

Location Unknown / Unclear. Fashion display on static models at theatre stage - expressionists and surrealist stage settings by various artists - fantastic. Some close up shots of the creations - frocks, hats, handbags etc. There are several different mise-en-scenes, one of them done by Jean Cocteau - Tribute to Rene Clair, author of the film ’I Married a Witch’. Several shots of the women looking at the staged models showing that the stages and models are much smaller in size then previously seen. Close up shot of a poster outside the exhibition ’Le Theatre de la Mode’ - brilliant fashion drawing. I think this exhibition was shown in France in 1946 - SL. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
