Unused / unissued material - dates and locations may be unclear / unknown. Liverpool Street Station, London. Great footage of men at work pulling levers in a signal box with natural sound. A man sits at a desk and speaks into a telephone. He gives some rather stilted instructions to the men in the box then speaks to different people on different phones about the Cromer train being diverted to number 10 platform. Several of four men sitting at a control desk, talking on telephones - all natural sound and all a bit staged. Good footage of people getting off trains at Liverpool Street Station and walking along platforms. Several men are in uniform. Great shot of a steam train coming in to a platform (natural sound). Streamlined express entering station. Shots of railway tracks with points moving and signals changing. Dials in the signal room. Shots of platform sign for Stratford.
