01:22:32 British Nylon Spinners Ltd. in co-operation with Trade Fairs and Promotions Ltd presentation. L/S of the Royal Albert Hall. Man walks past an advertising board featuring the National Nylon Trade Fair. C/U of flowers which are then moved aside to reveal two women modelling dresses and hats surrounded by large fabric butterflies. The women strike extravagant poses. One of the dresses is a copy of a 1908 style. L/S and M/S of a model looking at an exhibition stand of nylon goods. C/U of her hand as she strokes a yellow nylon petticoat. L/S and C/U of two women looking at nylon dresses. A couple look at rolls of fabric. Parachutes and stockings are mentioned by the narrator to emphasise the new uses to which nylon is being put. C/Us of lacy nylon. Display of nylon stockings and a bizarre machine which demonstrates how stretchy the stockings are.
