Stretcher & Bandage Drill (1914-1918)

Aldershot, Hampshire. Military; medical; World War One. Emergency First aid training at Aldershot: soldiers practice stretcher and bandage drill. Opens with shot of soldiers lying on the ground; pretending to be wounded; as group of other soldiers run toward them; some carrying stretchers; buildings of Aldershot in BG. Soldiers kneel next to the ’wounded’; some set up stretchers; others take out bandages and go to work on their first aid. CU Soldier bandages head of another; as others watch. Shot of soldiers loading stretcher with man on it into covered wagon. Next (after a glitch) shot of men carrying stretchers away from the wagon; pan as they go by others standing.
