Metro do Porto - Porto’s modern tram system

The Metro do Porto is essentially Porto’s rapid transit network. It includes 6 lines: A, B, C, D, E, and F. The D line runs by itself in a north-south direction while the other five lines run in an east-west direction. The A, B, C, E, and F lines share common trackage between the Senhora da Hora and Campanha Stations and offer a transfer to the D line at Trindade Station. The system comprises of 72 Bombardier-built Eurotram cars and 30 Bombardier-built Flexity Swift multi-section light rail (tram) cars. The 30 Flexity cars are used on the B and C lines due to their heavy ridership and route length. The B line is so crowded and so long that it is exclusively Flexity cars and offers all-day express service, sometimes called the Bx. Seen here are clips of these cars at Campanha, Sao Bento, and Senhora da Hora stations.
