Analogy - Analogy 1972 italy / germany, Krautrock, Prog Rock A great progressive album with female vocals. This italian german band was inspired by the likes of Pink Floyd, but their songs have also a strong blues attitude. This record will probably remind you of some great bands of the 70’s, like Circus 2000, Sandrose, and Julian’s Treatment. They succesfully tried to unite rock and folk with the renaissance music, using classical instruments as the viola. Originally released in 1972 This German band was based in Italy, with one Italian member, the keyboard player. This is a forgotten masterpiece of dark, atmospheric, progressive rock, dominated by the haunting, Nico-like vocals of the beautiful Jutta Nienhaus (naked in the artwork!), and Hammond organ played by Nikola Pankoff, not to mention some fine guitar and bass playing from Martin Thurn and Wolfgang Schoene, and drums by Hermann-Jόrgen “Mops“ Nienhaus.
