Germany: Protesters march against COVID restrix, vaccination in Berlin

Subscribe to our channel! Around 250 protesters rallied against coronavirus restrictions and vaccinations in Berlin on Saturday. The protesters marched through the western borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, escorted by police. A handful of people were detained for not wearing masks during the demonstration. The demonstration remained peaceful and ended after a three hour march.​ Restrictions on many areas of life have been eased in Germany in recent months as the vaccination rates against COVID-19 have increased, with tests or proof of vaccination or recovery being required for certain activities. According to Germany’s Health Ministry, 63.9 percent of the population was fully vaccinated from COVID-19 as of Friday.
