VOLBEAT - Shotgun Blues (Alesis strike pro with Bogren’s Krimh plugin)

Hi guys, how is it going. Today I thought I’d try something new and fresh so I recently bought Jens Bogren’s new drum plugin: Krimh. I watched lots of videos and reviews about it so I kinda knew what I get. I have to say this plugin really impressed me. First things first: I hate plugins that require Kontakt Player. I just don’t want to open a plugin to use another plugin. You know what I mean. But this one somehow feels ok. The workflow is simple. Easy to understand, easy to use and basically all the tools you need to get a good drum sound are included in the plugin (EQ, compressor, saturation, etc). The samples sound great, the dynamics of the drum play feels great and to hook it up with my Alesis Strike Pro was very easy. In less than 10 minutes I created a custom MIDI mapping, saved it and that’s it. For this song I just opened a preset and off you go. So the bottom line is: YES! Krimh by Bogren Digital gets a big fat thumbs up from me. Definitely recommended.
