Cyprus: Aphrodite Hiking Trail

The Aphrodite Trail is one of the most beautiful walks on Cyprus due to it’s stunning views. Moderate walk - circular trail, on paths - 7,5 to 8,0 km - 3,0 to 3,5 hours - ascents about 340m. The trail starts in Baths of Aphrodite, an area in the Akamas (northwestern peninsula of Cyprus). It derived its name from a small grotto shaded by an old fig tree, in the waters of which, legend has it, the goddess Aphrodite used to bathe.
