Vermisst / Condescendance (Poland / France) - S/T (Split 2022)

An excellent split and communion between these two great acts of the current underground Black Metal scene. The highly prolific Vermisst delivers once again it’s pure atavistic Black Metal sound, with their characteristic stripped-down, haunting coldness in an homage to the greats of its countries 90s scene. Here Belath, who always deliveres the murderous string incantations is joined by a session drummer, Umbra, and counts wit Tksräa M. of Condescendance and many other Garde Noire entities tot he deliver his own foul words, scorching maniac vocals and bizarre, mindwarping synthesizer spells. Condencendance on the other hand make their return after last year’s debut, with the excellent demo, “Chao Wampirii“. This time, the duo consisting of Tksräa M. and Kraëh Määtruum deliver a much more stripped down sound as well, resounding more around a miasma of solid, tumultuous and simplistic riffage, deliverign barrages of stygian reverberations on upon which they evoke the nightly creatures.
