Inside the Wanamaker Organ

Visiting the organ chambers while the organ is live is a rare occurrence. Here we are touring the Orchestral and String Division chambers. While the sound is best when “mixed“ outside in the Grand Court with all the other divisions at play, it was nevertheless very exciting to experience the organ from inside the chambers especially when standing by the 32’ diaphone in the String Pedal division.
