In this tutorial video, we will learn about turbine and torque calculation. You will discover the step-by-step process of saving the Workbench file, creating turbine geometry using Design Modeler, modifying the turbine geometry by removing unwanted portions, and creating an enclosure around the turbine blades. Additionally, we will explore how to create inlet and pressure outlet surfaces for flow simulation, name the geometries and bodies for identification, and mesh the geometry with a focus on checking mesh size. Furthermore, we will dive into setting up transient analysis, enabling time transcend, gravity, and choosing the viscous model. Assigning material and creating cell zone conditions will also be covered. Moreover, you will gain knowledge on defining mesh motion for rotating body and assigning the speed of rotation. We will then proceed to setting boundary conditions for inlet velocity magnitude, creating a report file to monitor torque, creating a cross-section plane, and defining commands to save plots.
