Channel 4 Continuity & Advert Breaks - Sunday 10th July 2022

Here is Channel 4 continuity during two episodes of The Simpsons that incredibly pissed me off. No, the reason has nothing to do with (you know what). The first is the episode On a Clear Day I Can’t See My Sister, and wow, the way Lisa treated Bart throughout that episode, got me so riled up and angry. I’ve already went into detail when RTE2 aired that episode, so see my further thoughts there: In case that wasn’t already bad enough, the next episode that aired here is Goo Goo Gai Pan, and oh man, the way that episode ended got me even more angry. Why the hell does stuff like this keep happening to Bart?! Homer’s attitude to the situation is even worse, with him being all like “close enough“ et al. On a positive note, I managed to find a way to record Channel 4 (and other channels) efficiently while only dealing with one whole recording instead of multiple segments. This is the first time I’m using this method, and it’s going out quite smoothly. I like it, and it makes it much easier to take requests and things like that.
