The Fisherman and the Golden Fish

This Pushkin’s fairy tale is a story-parable and it teaches children and adults an important lesson about how to value what they have and how to know the measure. The beautiful storyline also says that greed and evil are always punished. The phrase «to be left with the broken trough» became a proverb, and it originates from this tale – the meaning is that when you don’t know when to stop in your requests there is a risk to lose everything. Fragments of Bach and Beethoven musical works are used in the book.
