Here I am walking around the world’s biggest Christmas tree in Dortmund, Germany. At around 46m or 150 feet tall, it is enormous. The King Kong of Christmas trees is made up of more than spruces and featuring over lights. It forms the centrepiece of Dortmund’s Christmas market, which draws thousands of tourists and kind of explains why the German city invests in a 40 tonne Christmas tree every year. Dortmund also houses one of the largest and prettiest Christmas markets in all of Germany - the Weihnachtsstadt.
