Many English learners find it hard to get their heads around expressions with prepositions. Many times they think these are phrasal verbs. Actually, they are just prepositional phrases, or collocations with prepositions. Anyway, they just don’t have the stomach for it, so they get their backs up when it comes to these lessons.
