Spain: Demonstrators protest against COVID-19 restrictions in Madrid

Dozens of protesters and coronavirus sceptics gathered in Madrid’s El Retiro Park on Saturday to protest against restrictions put in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus. Demonstrators were seen holding banners and placards while chanting slogans demanding ’freedom’ and rejecting the restrictions imposed by the authorities. Mounted police observed the demonstration, which took place without major incident.
