This version of “Simple Man“ was recorded live to 1“ analog tape at Creampuff Studios in Nashville, TN. I think we did two takes, and chose the best one of the two lol.. Although posted in 2016, this video lit up during the pandemic- Up 550,000 views in April 2020 alone. I’m beyond grateful for the attention and support. “Simple Man“ wasn’t always part of my repertoire- After recording in Muscle Shoals, AL in 2016 (just before this cover was made); being there left me feeling far more connected to the music made there.. the music I’d always loved.
