The Russian folk song “Kalinka“ (or “Kalinka-malinka“) performed by Yevgeny Belyaev (tenor) and the Alexandrov Red Army Choir. Conductor - Boris Alexandrov This song was considered to be a Russian folk song for quite a long time. In fact, the song lyrics and music were written in 1860 by the composer, writer and folklorist Ivan Petrovich Larionov and the song was first performed on an amateur stage in Saratov in a play for which he wrote the music.
