Ep.9 - Would You Anchor with 2 FEET OF WATER below you?!

We continue our quarantine and head further north to Jewell Island in Casco Bay. TJ found this gem of an island and after looking at pictures we knew we had to go see it firsthand!! We knew that it might be a tight squeeze but we never anticipated to end up with only inches of water below the bottom of our boat, unnerving is putting it lightly. But while there we did get to enjoy one of the most beautiful and protected anchorages around, it’s no wonder it’s a locals favorite, especially on the weekends! After some beautiful days we headed to the goslings to get close to some seals and enjoy a new view where we once again had to get under the boat and untangle ourselves. Maine is really trying to welcome us with the full experience!
