Children Sing “A New World of Peace“ at Caversham Wildlife Park Peace Blossom Anniversary

Children singing at the ninth anniversary of Caversham Wildlife Park in Western Australia becoming a Sri Chinmoy Peace Blossom. The ceremony, which was held on March 15, 2022, consisted of two choirs, including the one featured here from Westcoast Steiner School. Dignitary speeches, a torch bearer award, peace poems, kangaroos hopping around, and a wombat show were part of the festivities. A local newspaper covered the event. Since 1986, many significant landmarks around the globe – from natural wonders to entire nations – have been dedicated to peace as part of the Sri Chinmoy Peace-Blossoms programme. The Peace-Blossoms family offers an opportunity for different communities to share in mankind’s common quest for peace.
