Belgium: ’Hooligans’ crash vigil for victims of Brussels attacks

Tensions erupted between mourners and right-wing protesters during a crowded rally at Brussels’ Place de la Bourse, Sunday, as thousands gathered to pay tribute to the victims of Tuesday’s deadly attacks in the Belgian capital. Both gatherings related to Tuesday’s attacks, starting in separate locations, were originally banned by police due to security concerns. However, protesters arrived despite the police order. Tensions erupted when far-right protesters converged on the tribute at Place de la Bourse.
