Djent tone with 100% FREE VST plugins

INFO: I’ve seen a few ’djent tone’ videos that use some free software but still use non-free plugins (Pod Farm, Waves) so I decided to make a video that used a slightly simpler signal chain using only truly FREE VST plugins for the guitar tone. I’ve used the stock Reaper gate and compressor plugins, and although these can still be downloaded and used in other DAW’s, the Floorfish and Blockfish plugins from are also great freeware alternatives. Off the top of my head I’ve probably bo
