Fool’s Gold Loaf sandwich to celebrate Elvis Presley’s 80th birthday at Nick’s Cafe

GOLDEN, Colo. - For millions of music fans, Elvis Presley is their favorite entertainer. But for restaurant owner Nick Andurlakis, The King of Rock and Roll, was his all-time favorite customer and friend. “I got to spend some time with him while he was alive and I wish he was still alive. He was a great man,“ said Andurlakis. Andurlakis was 16-years-old, working as a cook at the Colorado Mine Company when he fixed his first “Fool’s Gold“ loaf sandwich for Elvis. “A pound of peanut butter, pound of jelly
