25 Dec 2023 - OrangeGlider @ Sandy Bay, Tasmania OrangeGlider is a single line glider flown with a stick and control wheel combo. Flying line retraction/extension is by winding/releasing a flying line loaded on the wheel. Power or thrust to the glider is by applying a force on the tow point by retracting the flying line. When the glider has achieved sufficient altitude, the potential energy from the glider is converted to kinetic energy as the flying line is released and kept taught at all times.
