Ancient Greek Auloi #3 - Mesomedes’ Hymn to the Muse

Mesomedes’ (Greek composer at the court of Roman emperor Hadrian during the 2nd century AD) hymn to the Muse, along with some improvisation. I’m playing a copy of the auloi (dating from around 300 BC) preserved in the Louvre museum. The reeds were made under supervision of Dr. Stefan Hagel of the Austrian Academy of Science according to descriptions of Theophrastos (4th/3rd century BC).
