San Diego Storm Floods Roads and Closes Schools

An unusual torrent of rain and flash flooding hit the San Diego area on Monday, shutting down highways, swamping roads and forcing several schools to send students home early. An intense downpour brought more rain to the city on Monday than Tropical Storm Hilary did last year.
