OceanLab is the chart-hitting side project of Above & Beyond (Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamaki) and singer-songwriter Justine Suissa. The past two years have seen Genix release his debut album ’199X’, close Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender at The Gorge Amphitheatre, launch his club-oriented ‘Warehouse55’ EP series and event brand, and sell out two headline Warehouse 55 events in London and Los Angeles. A return to the club music that made him an in-demand DJ, ’Warehouse55’ embraces the harder side of Damo’s sound. Released last summer, Genix’s debut Warehouse55 EP gained support from Joris Voorn, who spun ’Ba55 I5land’ in his headline set at Awakenings Amsterdam on New Year’s Eve, as well as Marco Carola, Maceo Plex, Chris Lake, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, John Digweed, Sam Paganini, and beyond. ‘Beautiful Together’ (Genix Remix) is the second single from the forthcoming ‘OceanLab: The Anthology’ project, which celebrates the legacy of the iconic trance group through a series of new remixes, a digital compilation, and a limited edition vinyl box set product. This year, Above & Beyond were the only British DJs to sell out two consecutive nights at Printworks as part of the iconic London venue’s closing season. They recently made a return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre to helm two shows alongside label stars from Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep, and made an appearance at Insomniac’s Escape Halloween festival in California. The trio’s recent single, ‘Over Now’ with Seven Lions and Opposite The Other, amassed over 780K streams in its first week of release and earned spins on Sirius XM BPM, A State of Armin, iHeart Evolution radio and over 600 local stations worldwide.
